The former president's Granddaughter Receives Expert Tips from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer preparing for major tournament

The rising star has considerable social media following

Kai Trump can count on plenty of well-known cheerleaders as she makes her professional golf debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns several courses worldwide and regularly matches against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she revealed.

Kai explained that Trump, unable to come, advised her: "Simply stay calm."

"He practically told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.

"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, making him rather occupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events this year and has ranking 461 in AJGA standings.

However she can seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He is the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.

"And he's an even better human being. He told me to compete, have fun, and go with the flow."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA stated that her participation brings the sport to wider groups, specifically reaching younger fans.

Kai maintains a massive following and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness label.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
